Section 1

You will hear a conversation between a customer and a car rental agent at an airport rental desk. Answer Questions 1–7.
Agent: Good afternoon, welcome to Skyline Car Rentals. How can I help you today?
Customer: Hi, I'd like to rent a car. I made a booking online last week.
Agent: Wonderful. Could I have your name and booking reference, please?
Customer: Sure. My name is Daniel Foster, and the reference is BR7294.
Agent: Thank you, Mr Foster. Let me bring that up. Yes, I can see your reservation here. You booked a medium-sized car for five days, is that right?
Customer: That's correct, although I'm wondering if I could change it. I've got two extra passengers joining me, so I think I'll need something bigger.
Agent: No problem at all. We have an SUV available that seats seven people. It would be twelve pounds more per day than the medium car.
Customer: That sounds ideal. Let's go with the SUV then.
Agent: Great. So that's the SUV for five days. The daily rate is fifty-five pounds, which brings the total to two hundred and seventy-five pounds before any extras.
Customer: Okay. Does that include insurance?
Agent: It includes basic insurance, but I'd strongly recommend our full cover option, which adds fifteen pounds a day. It covers any damage to the windscreen and tyres as well.
Customer: Yes, let's add the full cover. I'd rather be safe.
Agent: Sensible choice. Now, will you be the only driver, or do you need to add an additional driver?
Customer: Just me, thank you. Oh, one more thing — do you offer a child seat? My nephew is travelling with us.
Agent: We do. A child seat is an extra five pounds for the whole rental period. Shall I include one?
Customer: Yes, please.
Agent: Done. Now, regarding fuel, the car comes with a full tank. We ask that you return it full as well; otherwise there's a refuelling charge.
Customer: Understood. Where exactly do I collect the vehicle?
Agent: The car park is on Level 2 of the terminal. When you leave this desk, take the lift up and follow the green signs. Your car is in bay forty-one.
Customer: Level 2, bay forty-one. Got it. And what time do I need to return it?
Agent: Your return is booked for next Tuesday, and we ask that all vehicles are back by eleven in the morning.
Customer: Perfect. Could I pay now by card?
Agent: Of course. I'll just need to see your driving licence and a credit card for the deposit, which is one hundred pounds and fully refundable.
Customer: Here you are.
Agent: Thank you. Everything looks fine. Here are your keys and the documents. Enjoy your trip, Mr Foster.
Customer: Thank you very much for your help.
